We can’t say enough good about this product. 100% waterproof, and hands down the most versatile floor ever. Loose Lay says it all…yes it is designed to simply lay in place. You don’t need nails, staples and only on limited occasions would you even need a tackifier (release) adhesive. No need to to worry with even a click together product. LooseLay installs flush to the walls, right up against them. No expansion gap is needed as the product does not expand or contract. The bottom surface creates a good amount of friction, so that it almost grips the subfloor.
LooseLay is designed to keep moisture and water above the floor long enough that it can be cleaned up before getting through the subfloor. Even if it does, or if water comes up under the planks, they can be pulled right up, only in area needed, then your floor can be dried out, and then the same planks will just lay back into place. if you’ve ever worried about how to lay vinyl flooring, LooseLay will put you at ease.
