Polyester

Today due to many technological advancements, the gap between polyester and nylon has been drastically reduced.  Manufacturers have worked hard to improve the performance of polyesters, and now polyester is stronger and more durable than ever before.  Manufacturers are confident in the longevity of the new polyester, demonstrated by the longer warranties.  If budget is your biggest concern, and you find yourself changing carpet every 7-10 years, due to decor changes, then a polyester may be an excellent choice and a no brainer. 

It’s important to note that both nylon and polyester carpets are available in a wide range of qualities, and so a high-grade polyester carpet may outperform a low-grade nylon carpet.  As always, when comparing two different carpets, be sure that they are of equivalent quality.  And we are here to help if you have additional questions.

We had a good experience working with Dalton Carpet. Great quality of carpet, a lot to choose from. Their installers were excellent. They were great to work with pleasant to talk with, and they knew what they were doing. They did not seem to mind me asking questions. By the way I showed the carpet to one of my pastor friends from Alabama and mention it was from Dalton Carpet he knew the brand and said could not of gotten any better. He also said it is a selling point for houses on the market. Thank You Dalton Carpet Klamath Assembly
