Manufacturers have worked hard to improve the performance of polyesters, and now polyester is stronger and more durable than ever before. It’s important to note that both nylon and polyester carpets are available in a wide range of qualities, and so a high-grade polyester carpet may outperform a low-grade nylon carpet.
