Nylon
Nylon features many characteristics that make it an ideal choice for carpet use. Number one is durability. Nylon is very strong and stands up very well to abrasion. It is also highly resilient and has very good texture retention. The resiliency is due in large part to the hydrogen molecule that constitutes part of its structure. This molecule can be revived by the hot water extraction cleaning method. It is very important that nylon carpet be steam cleaned every 12 to 18 months at minimum, to ensure longevity. The Gym carpet court from DaltonCarpet.com has been a blessing - it certainly dresses up a gym that wasn't being used as often for social events. Now it looks and feels like a social hall and it is used weekly. We did go with the blue colors. Maybe we should have reversed the colors using the darker color as the primary and the lighter color for the basketball lines since we have frequent spills. We invested in a carpet cleaner/extractor - the carpet cleans well. The service you provided was excellent and your installers were amazing.
